5 Activities (that are not classes) To Do in HHSA

HHSA has some great opportunities for members and guests to interact and take part in. Take a few moments to read about the activities we offer for members and non member students.

Pen Pals

Pen pals is a program centered on fostering community. Parents can opt for their student(s) to receive email correspondence or traditional letters. This is only is available for HHSA members.

Social Chats

Student led social chats are adult monitored virtual chats where children can congregate, shoot the breeze, and just hang out. Adults are present to monitor conversations and ensure conduct is orderly. This is available to nonmembers and members alike.

Junior Leaders

Junior leaders is an opportunity for our member students to get involved behind the scenes and spearhead certain projects and initiatives that HHSA has going on. They work virtually right along side the staff and adults of HHSA to gain the soft and technical skills needed to run operations and complete business projects.

Bright Lights Book Club

Bright Lights Book Club is also for member students only. Our students are informed of recommended reading material with the suggested time schedule to keep up with group reading. The book club will then get together periodically within the time schedule to read aloud and discuss various chapters of the books.

Game Night and Movie Night

These are activities to bring our kids together for good fun and conversation. Game nights will range from trivia, to card games, and other classics such as hangman or virtual pictionary etc. Movies will be announced prior to the date and may be entertainment or educational/documentary centered. These activities are available for members and nonmembers.

Peeps Pod podcast

While only our Junior Leaders will spearhead this podcast, the conversations are for all kids to tune in. This podcast is just for the kids to talk about the things that are specific and interesting to them. All kids encouraged to tune in.
